  Paris, the most romantic city of Europe, is a great place to visit. There are many tourist attractions like-Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, Notre Dame, Versailles etc in this city.

  1. Eiffel Tower is one of the most popular tourist destination of Paris. Its a 324 m high tower of Iron designed by Gustav Eiffel. Its one of the most romantic places in the world with a beauty of its own.

  2. Arc of Triumph (Arc de Triomphe) is a monument in Paris which was built in the honor of those who fought in Napoleanic wars. It looks similar to India gate.

     It is situated on the famous road Champs Elysees. A visit to this place is must for every traveller to Paris. There are 12 roads that cross this monument. You can climb on it for a small ticket.

  3. Louvre Museum is the most visited museum in the world. It has one of the largest collection of paintings, sculptures, artifacts etc. Yes, it has Monalisa painting too!!

     It is located on the Louvre Palace in Paris. From outside it is one the most beautiful buildings of the Paris.

     Trivia: This museum was also shown in the famous movie “The Da Vinci Code”

  4. Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris is one of the very old cathedrals. It is also a popular tourist attraction. A visit to Paris is incomplete without seeing this cathedral.

  5. The Palais Garnier, also known as the Opéra de Paris or Opéra Garnier, but more commonly as the Paris Opéra, is a 2,200-seat opera house on the Place de l’Opéra in Paris, France. A grand landmark designed by Charles Garnier in the Neo-Baroque style, it is regarded as one of the architectural masterpieces of its time.

  6. The Place de la Bastille is a square in Paris, where the Bastille prison stood until the ‘Storming of the Bastille’ and its subsequent physical destruction between 14 July 1789 and 14 July 1790 during the French Revolution; no vestige of it remains.

     The square straddles 3 arrondissements of Paris, namely the 4th, 11th and 12th. The square and its surrounding areas are normally called simply Bastille.

     The July Column (Colonne de Juillet) which commemorates the events of the July Revolution (1830) stands at the center of the square. Other notable features include the Bastille Opera, the Bastille subway station and a section of the Canal Saint Martin. Prior to 1984, the former Bastille railway station stood where the opera house now stands.

  7. Place de la Concorde is one of the major public squares in Paris, France. Its 86,400 square metres make it the largest square in the French capital. It is located at the eastern end of the Champs-Élysées.

  8. Champs Elysees is one of the most beautiful roads in the Paris. There are cafes and restaurants on the side of this road. One end of the road meets the monumental Arc de Triomphe, a gate around which 12 roads cross.

     A walk on the Champs Elysees is a very romantic experience.

  9. The Basilica of the Sacred Heart, (Sacré-Cœur Basilica) is a Roman Catholic basilica. It is a prominent place in Paris, France dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The basilica is located at the summit of the butte Montmartre, the highest point in the city.

  10. The Avenue de l’Opéra is a Haussmanian avenue situated in the centre of Paris, France. It runs from the Louvre to the Palais Garnier, which was Paris’s main opera until it was replaced by the Opéra Bastillein 1989.
